Who this covers
AskSimona operates Style Me. This notice describes the current wardrobe and image-sharing release, intended for people aged 16 and over. It does not describe unrelated AskSimona products. Contact support@asksimona.com with privacy questions.
Your wardrobe stays on your device
Selected clothing photos, categories, colors and notes, saved outfit layouts, wishlist links and price notes, local name or nickname, self-declared age range, appearance preferences and activity counters are stored in the app on your device. Your birthday is not stored. There is no Style Me account, automatic cloud wardrobe backup or cross-device sync in this release. Your device backup service may include app data under your settings.
When you share an outfit
An outfit image is created locally. Tapping Open share menu opens your device’s system sharing interface. If you choose to send or post through another app, that app receives the image and applies its own terms and privacy practices. Style Me does not upload the image to a Friends service, request social passwords or publish automatically. Canceling the share menu does not publish a post. Recipients may save or redistribute copies; we cannot recall them. Saving to Photos copies the image to your photo library only after the requested permission.
Wishlist and external websites
Wishlist details remain on your device. Opening a retailer, support or policy link connects to that website, which may process connection information or use cookies under its own practices. Retailer sites determine their prices, stock and transactions. Style Me does not scrape product photos or update saved prices automatically.
Earlier versions and retained data
An earlier version offered optional hosted Friends requests. This release does not create, open or reply to those requests and does not transmit their retained local records or access keys. The update does not delete separate historical server records, provider backups or recipient copies. The earlier service and its existing retention obligations are separate from the current device-only app. Contact support about an earlier request without sending a private invitation or owner key.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you remove them, clear app data or the device removes them. Clearing local data removes the app’s copied wardrobe photos, local profile, wishlist, looks and retained local records/keys after confirmation. Original photo-library files, device backups, historical service records and recipient copies are separate. Uninstalling can remove device-only data; AskSimona cannot recover a wardrobe from a lost or erased device.
AI, advertising and analytics
This release has no runtime AI stylist, virtual try-on, advertising SDK or app analytics SDK. Wardrobe photos and age preferences are not sent to an AI service. Editorial portraits are pre-created fictional artwork bundled for offline use. The app does not collect its local wardrobe/profile data through a developer-operated backend.
Support and this website
Sending support email is your choice and includes your email address and the content you provide. Do not send passwords, private invitation keys or sensitive photos. These static policy pages contain no added advertising/analytics scripts or forms. The website/email hosts may process technical information independently. AskSimona monitors the support mailbox. Website and email providers may retain technical records or backups under their own practices; this notice does not promise a fixed deletion period for those separate records.
Age and changes
Style Me is for ages 16+. The confirmation and age range are self-declared, not identity or verified-age checks. For ages 16–17, involve a parent or guardian where their permission is required. Only use and share images you have permission to use. Material changes to data handling will be explained before taking effect, with consent requested where required.
